The computer motherboard

As we saw in class, the board (in English known as the motherboard or mainboard) is the printed circuit board of a computer that serves as a means of connection between the microprocessor, the slots for connecting the main memory system and special slots (slots) that allow connection of additional expansion cards.

Perform the following exercises in your lab notebook :

1. There are several types of motherboards. Lists the most common and writes its main characteristics.
2. What is the chipset on the motherboard?. Find current models and creates a chipset table to group them according to the processor for which they are designed.
   
3. Sometimes the battery wears down inside of a computer, this is misconfigured. Try to explain this fact.
